Quilts
inspired  by  Iceland

"The most beautiful thing I saw"

My trip to Iceland in spring 2019 was an indescribable natural experience.

The memories, the many photos of glaciers, snow, ice, lava, black beaches, moss and blooming lupine landscapes are an inexhaustible source of inspiration for colors, shapes and structures.

A selection of the quilts created since then can be found ......

everything   flows  PHANtA RHEI

The thought that everything flows and is in motion and is subject to constant change also describes my creative work in the studio very well.

Several quilts for the PHANTA RHEI series have been created since 2015.

A small selection  .....

Quilts
 just  Circles  ...

Fascination circle - closed in itself, without a recognizable beginning and end, without corners and edges, with an inside and an outside. Quilts with a very own attraction, which spread calm, harmony and unity.

A selection of my Circle Collection

Art Quilt - Stone Circle - the textile artist Jacqueline Heinz works intensively on her painted surfaces with machine stitches. This creates a lively, three-dimensional structure made up of lines, stones and spirals.
Digital quilt landscapes by Jacqueline Heinz, several nature photographs are combined with detailed images of her type of quilts and then worked out with machine stitches.
Q DIGITAL
connected with nature

Digital overlays of  landscape and nature pics with detailed photos of my textile works "connected" with machine stitches directly on the photo.

Work in this technique is flatter than my type of quilt and is presented in a frame.

textile  objects

I love natural materials, beautiful design, harmony and balance.

Established a few years ago  as a companion to my wall hanging 'ICE CIRCLE' ( see my gallery) my first three-dimensional object was made from a white wool felt with integrated delicate structures. It is paper-thin, waves gently back and forth in the breeze and has a diameter of 50 cm.

In the meantime, more three-dimensional objects and bowls have been created .....
